We are excited to officially launch FibroMAV, a research-driven initiative advancing fiber-based materials for the production of advanced Biomimetic Micro Aerial Vehicles – BMAVs.

The 2-year project is a collaboration between CyRIC | Cyprus Research & Innovation Center Ltd (HO) and the University of Cyprus – (PA1).

#FibroMAV is designed not only to enhance lightweight, high-performance #BMAV structures while also supporting local industrial growth by developing tailored solutions for sustainable environmental monitoring.
✔Bridging Research & Application:
FibroMAV is part of the POST-DOC programme of RIF, and it aims to combine academic expertise with industrial collaboration, driving practical, scalable innovations for sustainable wildlife monitoring in Cyprus. The project is fully aligned with CyRIC’s strategic goals of delivering highly innovative autonomous systems that combine unique materials and robotic principles.
